Hi folks, join us at the Kincumber Neighborhood Centre every Wednesday through the school term for an hour and a bit of joyful fun with singing. Beginner singers are welcome. The first session is free with no obligation, so come and check us out to see if it’s your cup of tea.

Cost is $150 for a 10-week term (this price is for upfront payment – payment plans welcome), or pay $20 for drop-in sessions at your leisure. The term is usually 10 weeks long. Join at any time.

Past post: Join us for another year at Heart and Soul Choir this year, 2025! Last year was a blast from performing at the 5 Lands Walk Opening Ceremony at Macmasters Beach, doing a set at the Coastal Fusion Festival in Terrigal, recording backing vocals for Central Coast band Telitha Lee and the Huskies on ‘Bring Me to Life’, supporting TL and the Huskies at the Fish and Tackle, accompanying widely loved Central Coast group The TOFFS at their Hardy Bay gig and lots more. Excitingly, our end-of-year soiree showcased the solo singing of some of our choir members – It’s an awesome journey to witness as choir members build their confidence and strength in singing and face their fear and desire to perform solo! There’s so much room to grow and so many wonderful connections to make, all through this wonderful choir. No pressure put on anyone, no previous knowledge required, just a desire and willingness, to sing with others, learn and have fun of course!
Sometimes we offer ‘Singing in the Round’ sessions for all choir members, to try out performing a song in front of others in a very low-key and supportive environment in which the focus is just getting up and getting through a solo song. This is not a requirement of choir members by any stretch, just something offered to those who want to explore that side of performing on a seperate night to choir night.

About
Science has concluded what we’ve all known intuitively – singing, especially singing with others, lengthens your life and is exceptionally good for you, physically, mentally and emotionally! We get all the good feels from using our voice to express music, and we feel a great sense of belonging singing with others – It’s a win-win!!
The Heart and Soul Choir has a relaxed atmosphere, with attention to detail. Run by a qualified teacher with over 20 years’ experience, this choir is about enjoying singing with others and progressing with your singing and harmony skills over time, in your own time. Anyone is welcome, all you need is a willingness to sing, learn, and have fun!
We sing music from all over the world, and we try to keep the repertoire varied. We sing harmony, rounds, unison – whatever the song requires. All types of music – world, folk, Jazz, choral, gospel, pop, and more.
No judgment here, just fun of singing with others, where learning takes place in your own time at your own pace.
Come and say hi to see what we’re about. First session is free and with no obligation. There is absolutely no experience needed to join – You will learn as you go! All ages welcome. (Please note, if you are an absolute beginner, you are recommended to have a singing lesson session with me to get you a bit more confident in finding your way in the choir).
