Wishing everyone a very merry and happy, well, everything. It’s been a big year and we want to thank you all for making it incredible. Thank you for helping us fulfil our long time goal of putting on World Music Gigs on the Central Coast which we did with Miriam Lieberman and Magdalena Mira’s trio. Our goal – pay the musicians a decent wage, create a welcoming and fun and happy atmosphere, serve great food. Also, Tick!
We hosted 3 Poets’ Breakfasts which were life affirming! Everyone who attended gave so much through their work, through their presence and their generosity of spirit! So much creativity, fun and it was all at the Kincumber Neighborhood Centre! What I loved was that each PB was different, because of the different work offered and because of the personalities of those attending. This made it a truly organic event which seemed to give room to people to be themselves, to challenge themselves and to enjoy themselves! Thank you to all of you for your contribution in making these community events come alive – for your patronage, your attendance and your enthusiasm!
Next year: We’re getting organised for 2024 and will have a calendar of dates up for Heart and Soul Choir in Kincumber, Qirky Choir in Abermain in the Hunter Valley and dates for my private teaching studio. All of the Alexikaye-allaboutmusic info will be here.
We’ll also be adding a shop to the site so you can purchase Singing Lesson Vouchers for friends and family, any time of the day or night! It’s such a great option for a gift, especially for those who have longed to sing but keep putting it off. Once they start, they may never stop!
