Qirkz in the Hunter is slowly becoming one of the most iconic, and purpose renovated ‘QIRKY’ music venues in NSW, after it’s birth almost a year ago. Bought and renovated by Yaron Hallis (director and owner of Camelot Lounge in Sydney and 5 time ARIA winner with his band Monsieur Camembert) and situated in Abermain in the Hunter Valley, it is the perfect place to gather together, and SING!
This Sat the 4th of Nov, we welcome all and anyone who feels like singing with others, to join us at 10:30am-12pm where we’ll sing through a variety of different songs from African American gospel, to Country, to Reggae. Anything goes. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed and you’ll be in the good hands of Alexi Kaye – long time performer and choir leader. You do not need any experience! You do not need to know how to sing! Just arrive!
The cost is $20 and includes a coffee or tea of your choice for the wonderful Qirkz Café. There’s also the option to stay for lunch after choir session – The option is yours!
